Hello friends! It sure has been a while. So many transits and changes. I wish to share about the upcoming Venus retrograde this month. I also want to note that Venus will be in conjunction with Pluto as well on December 11th prior to this upcoming retrograde. Though I will share specifically about the retrograde here and feel free to contact me to understand the meaning of a Venus-Pluto conjunction if you wish. :-)

The planet Venus stations retrograde on December 19th, 2021 and lasts until January 29, 2022 in the zodiac sign of Capricorn.

Venus rules relationships, females, beauty, sensuality, and to some degree money and real estate. Venus also rules the place in our natal chart where we feel EASE. There are bound to be themes around the topics listed above in the weeks to come and especially during the retrograde time.

Our personal natal Venus sign can point us to examine what we LOVE as well. For example, a native with Venus in Cancer may love being a mother or may love being a nurturing type of person. This would come easily to he or she. The native may love the ocean or be in tune with the moon cycles. Take a moment to find out where Venus is in your chart. One may also note themes around their natal Venus sign as well during the upcoming retrograde.


Venus spends the least amount of time in retrograde motion compared to any other planet. Venus stations retrograde every eighteen months, moving backward in the sky, going back fifteen to eighteen degrees in the zodiac over a period of approximately 40 days!

As with Mercury retrograde, Venus retrograde period is a time to slow down and to turn inwards. "Don't push the river" so to say is a motto. It's not usually a good time to enter into a new relationship (or if you do,, know that it may later be revised in some way.) It is a good time to move slowly in relationships; that may mean within a marriage or long-term partnership or for a new pursuit. Time to reflect more and listen carefully to the other.

It is not considered a favorable time to make long time financial investments; It is probably more favorable to ride out the 40 days before choosing to make a large purchase.

Venus retrograde is favorable for revisiting old patterns and karma. Time to look at and let go of what doesn't or didn't work in past! It can be a time to discover what DOES work well and a time to embrace that which brings harmony and ease.

Another auspicious and interesting thing is it is the planets Jupiter (which rules Sagittarius) and Saturn (that rules over Capricorn) AND the solstice is the time that Sagittarius moves into Capricorn every year. So it’s quite interesting that this particular Great Conjunction occurs on this date- the solstice.

Hi Everyone :) It has been a while. That is because I have not yet decided the direction I am taking Neptune Rising these days but would love to give an astrological update for the first time in a while.

First off, Happy Leo time everyone! Started last night on 7/22 and goes until Aug 23rd. Leo is a time associated with optimism, vitality, strength, power, warm- heartedness, creative expression, organizing, being gregarious, and taking action; The downfalls of Leo time can be a too much drama, being too dominating, excessive forcefulness, sense of entitlement, ego issues;
Remember Love heals wounds and during Leo time we should look to putting plans into action or organizing things while mending our hearts and minds of negativity. Try to look on the bright side

VENUS TURNS RETROGRADE July 25th- September 6th. And that is what I wanted to also write about. About every 1.5 years Venus stations Retrograde. We have all become use to Mercury turning Rx every 4 months for 3 weeks at a time, but VENUS is also a personal planet so it's motion retrograde will be noticed on some level or another cor sure. Venus rules what comes easy to us, where we find "ease and harmony" in our chart, in relationships, and what brings us "peace" and "tranquility". Look to your own personal Venus signs for some clues on that as well. Some say Venus rules beauty and appearances as well, so some themes around superficial/ outer appearances may also arise. Because she is a feminine planet, we may be drawn close to our feminine nature, the women in our lives, and given a chance to reflect on our femininity (regardless of whether you are male or female (or trangender, etc))

Venus retrograde in sign of Leo will certainly bring up how and where we experience "ease and comfort" in regards to our own vitality, strength, and will- be it at a physical, mental or emotional level. We will want peace. We may want to complete "feelings" from past relationships (Venus ruled) so we will need to come terms with any remaining baggage. Like any retrograde which renews or reviews issues, it not suggested as a time to start a new relationship, rather reflect on old ones so you can learn for the future..
After September 6th, Venus will be rising as the morning star instead of the evening star.

Hello and Happy Mercury Retrograde! (Ok we can try to have a happy one right?) Rx= Oct. 4, 2014 - Oct 25, 2014 ... as i have shared in previous posts it is a good time to get hypnosis, dreamwork, past life regression work, or redoing something for a second or third time. Revamp, reorganize, reunite also are Mercury Retro themes. It is not usually favored to sign a longer term legal agreement or make a major life decision during this time. Decisions can be complicated - or you simply may have to rethink the decision later. Temporary situations are favored. Technical things can go wonky and lines seem longer than usual as does traffic. Consider going deeper into your mind, and soul perhaps, while Mercury is this way the next 3 weeks!
In other events- Total Lunar Eclipse- Oct 8th, 2014 !! Eclipses are a wonderful time for intentional work. The planetary pull of the moon, earth, and tides tend to be stronger now, especially on a Lunar Eclipse which always occurs at the exact full moon. Full moon work is about letting go and releasing - whether that be negative thoughts, memories, toxic people, emotions, upsets, confusion, or even releasing physical illness from our body and shedding stored up toxins.

Then two weeks later Oct 23rd, on the new moon, we have the follow up eclipse - which is a partial solar eclipse! Still great time to do intentions. Set ideas in motion for what you want new in your life. Begin with a list of new goals or projects you are aiming to begin.

Mercury - the sign associated with our mind, how we think, decisions, and communication styles has just moved into Scorpio but will "roll back" into Libra over the next few weeks in Retrograde Station.
Venus is in fair and lovely Libra presently and will remain there until Oct 23rd when it moves into Scorpio teaming up with Sun then which will also be moving into Scorpio on that day! As well as the Solar Partial Eclipse !! Whew! Plenty going on in October
