✨ Hello, October! ✨
I know it’s been quiet here with Women in Action… but powerful things are happening behind the scenes. 🌿 Even when it feels still, growth is unfolding, plans are forming, and exciting opportunities are being prepared to uplift and inspire every woman in this community.
A heartfelt thank you to all the amazing women who have stayed with us through this pause. Your faith, encouragement, and support mean the world. 💛
This month, let’s choose softness, ease, and gratitude. Give yourself permission to evolve, notice the beauty in the present moment, open your heart to new possibilities, and allow joy to take over. 🍁🍂
Ladies, your pause has purpose. Trust the process, keep believing, and get ready—your breakthrough is coming! ✨

🕊️ Taking a Pause… But Not Saying Goodbye
Sometimes the hardest decisions are the ones that come from the deepest parts of our hearts. 💔
Since December, after my explant surgery—and really, even a few months before that—I felt the Lord whispering to me, preparing me to take a pause. Not just from a few things, but from many things. And it hasn’t been easy.
When you’re living out a vision, chasing dreams, building something you love with your whole heart… pausing feels like giving up. But I know it’s not that.
This isn’t goodbye.
This is obedience.
This is faith.
This is trusting God with the very thing He asked me to build.
I’ve poured my heart into Women In Action for the last five years. I’ve celebrated with you, cried with you, walked through valleys and climbed mountains alongside so many of you. And still, right now, I know—it’s time to take a break.
Not because WIA isn’t important. It is. It always will be.
But because my health, my healing, my family, my marriage, my career, and most importantly, my walk with God—all need my attention in this season.
💭 The other day I had a vision while driving.
So many people call me a “bridge” or a “connector”—and I saw it so clearly.
A bridge exists to help people cross from one place to another.
People use it. They pass over it. They get to where they need to go.
But rarely—rarely—do people stop on the bridge and look back.
Rarely do they pause to see the structure holding them up.
And that hit me hard.
Because sometimes… the bridge gets tired too.
Bridges go through wear and tear. They take on weight. They carry people, often silently.
And every now and then, they have to close—not because they’re broken,
but because they need repair.
That’s where I am.
I’m not broken.
But I am choosing to pause.
To heal.
To rest.
To allow God to strengthen me for whatever’s next.
To every woman, business who has shown up for WIA—who has spoken, sponsored, supported, prayed, loved, and believed—thank you.
You are part of this legacy.
You are the reason WIA has become what it is.
And for those of you waiting for what’s next—networking events, workshops, the membership program, and more—please know…
They’re still part of the vision. 🌱
We’ve planted too many seeds not to see the harvest.
But first, I must pause. I must heal. I must obey.
This is not a farewell.
This is a Selah—a pause, a breath, a sacred moment in the song.
Lord willing, I’ll revisit this again in November as we prepare for Walking With Purpose.
Until then, please know I’m still here—just in a different space, trusting God as He continues to write this story.
With all my love,
Amelia 🤍

Women In Action had the honor of volunteering at this impactful event!
We were proud to come alongside Natura Mist Spray in support of their mission to educate our community on the dangers of toxic chemicals and the importance of safe, non-toxic alternatives for our homes and workplaces.
It was a beautiful moment of unity, empowerment, and purpose—held at the stunning Historic Circle Theatre in Downtown Sebring.
We love supporting local businesses that are making a difference in our community. This is what community over competition looks like!
A special thank you to the owners of Natura Mist for trusting us and choosing to collaborate—we love our friends and partners in purpose!
We also want to acknowledge Deanna Sager for boldly sharing her story and Jane Rivera-Benham for her support and presence.
Together, we continue to grow, serve, and uplift.
