Moving Tip: When loading your truck with household goods one tried and true method is to do a bottom layer of "base" (dresser, nightstands, desks, solid tables etc...), then boxes on top of that, then a top layer of loose misc or "fluff" (pillows, bagged bedding, cushions, ski's, poles, brooms etc..). Build these tiers to the roof until you are unable to any longer and then cap with a mattress as a bulkhead. This creates solid tiers that do not shift, keeping your goods from bouncing around and breaking as well as maximizing the square footage of your truck.
