Dear Avionics Source family,

We hope you and your loved ones are ok, staying safe and taking care of one another in these uncertain times. Our hearts are with everyone around the world who has been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak and we are incredibly grateful to all who are working hard to keep our communities healthy and safe.

We are open and serving customers, but I wanted to share an update on some delays you might experience. Based on the recent public isolation health orders across several states, we’re seeing approximately a 50% capacity reduction at partner shops and manufacturers we work with across the board. As a result, please bear with us if your order arrives a little later or your return is processed later than planned while we manage through these changes. We will be doing our best to communicate with you individually and please know we’re working hard to make sure your experience is still the best it can possibly be.

This is the most challenging time we’ve faced in our nearly 5 years in business. Although we may have inadvertently entered IFR a few turns back, I’m confident there's a clearing with blue skies are just ahead. But, in the face of that challenge, we also see opportunity. We see the opportunity to invest in the connections to each other that bring meaning to our work, the opportunity to lean on our company values and do what we believe is right, and the opportunity to support each other and make our community even stronger.

Avionics Source was built one personal relationship at a time. Our relationships with all of you—our amazing customers—are what keep us going. With that said, through the end of April we’re putting people over profits and enacting our own avionics stimulus. Starting today, email me directly at [email protected] or reply to this post with something you need, and if we can get our hands on it, anticipate prices well below typical retail. We’ll of course need to cover things like overhead, credit card fees, and shipping, but we want to put the profits back in your pocket. For example, an Appareo Stratus ES Transponder that is typically on sale for $2,275 will be leaving our doors at only $2,025 shipped.
