Day 8 - Morning Prayer - **A Prayer of Aran (Inspired by Saint Enda)**

*O God of wind and stone and sea,
Who dwells in silence deep and free,
Make of my soul a quiet shore,
Where pride and want shall rise no more.*

*The waves may batter, skies may break,
Yet still Thy peace I shall not forsake.
With hands in toil, with knees in prayer,
I'll find Thee, Lord, in salted air.*

*This island bare, this cloistered sod,
Is holier ground for love of God.
No gold I seek, no worldly fame,
But only grace, and Thy good name.*

*Teach me to walk the way of sand,
Unknown, unseen, by Thy command—
To live, to love, to die unknown,
And rise to Thee, and Thee alone.
