Not Mr Darcy but here's Conan running through a field shaking off his costume from a few years ago when we did our Midsommar themed holiday card.
This little guy is 16 years old now! I've been joking that his Halloween costume this year was as a $300+ surprise emergency vet bill because he forgets he's no longer a young pup and gets himself into trouble. Like leaping out of parked cars and landing on hard on his spine ( he's ok! Just on a cocktail of pain and anti inflammatory meds while he heals). He can be an adorable little troublemaker and we love him dearly ๐๐๐

It's a big week for milestones for my art practice -- first, you'll find a few of my small tufted pieces at Seattle Art Fair this week (as part of ) AND THEN I'll also be at !
These are 2 big firsts for me ๐ค I'll be bringing the originals of my portraits, plus lots of new small originals and collage pieces to Alki.
West Seattle friends drop your favorite coffee/cafe spots! Come through if you can, I'd love to celebrate these milestones with some familiar faces โจ

I'm very excited to be showing a few pieces from my artist residency at Inscape again! Excited to share more about my time there and the pieces I created. The show is curated by Tara Tamaribuchi () and the artist reception is this Thursday!

This exhibition brings together alumni of the Inscape Artist-in-Residence program that took place from 2016 to 2024 at Inscape Arts, the art studio building that was Seattleโs immigration and detention building for 80 years. The volunteer-run residency focused on providing studios to immigrant and diasporic community artists, and artists interested in engaging with the buildingโs history and the Chinatown-International District neighborhood.
