Winter Solstice. A time of new beginnings, awakenings; a lightness and brightness in the air. Well, I’m hoping...🌿On this shortest day of the year in Seattle, we have fewer than eight hours of daylight. And as it’s a grey and stormy day it seems even less. So, here’s to longer days, fresh starts, wonder and adventure. Whatever the shift in the light means to you. From me, and my crew: peace and warmth to you and yours.🌿

It’s beginning to look a lot like… the most decorated time of the year… 🎄My favorite indulgence of the holiday season is the decorated tree.🎄At our house, this means an eclectic collection of ornaments, with the festive chaos of us layering them on a large and imperfect tree. Our xmas tree is a charismatic display of annual and memorable baubles. It is beautiful and messy.
