“It’s nice that as bad as things were, that things can get better if you try. When I was at my rock bottom, I had no place to go and no one trying to help me out…Now, I have my own apartment. I’m in permanent housing and it’s so serene. I’m grateful for my housing, and excited about the future and the things I’m finally focused enough to try to do. I have a lot of dreams.

[Matt Talbot] was like a breath of new life into my lungs. They put me in a position where I can succeed and go back to school now, start to look at my future...[God] brought me to a place where people really care and I really care about them. They work with you and they do what they say they’re going to do if you do what you say you’re going to do. I appreciate them for that because they’re saving lives here. You guys that donate to MTC, you’re helping the people that help us…and everything’s appreciated. They use a lot of resources for us and are really good about trying to get us the things we need. We appreciate you guys for donating, to us, basically. We were the forgotten ones for a second there, and they showed us they’ll never forget.”
