“Most people fall in love with the idea instead of the problem,” Amit Chopra said in today’s Fundamentals for Startups lecture. Chopra discussed the mindsets used by major tech companies, including Google and Amazon, that start-ups should adopt. He emphasized that a start-up should utilize data on the entire customer base to improve products and highlighted the importance of building trust with the consumer.
