What an honor it was to witness—and capture—Baylie & Jordan’s wedding day!

Jordan and I have spent nearly a decade documenting other people’s love stories side by side. But when it’s friends getting married, the weight to deliver something extraordinary hits different.

Their motto for the day? “Do whatever, guys! We trust you.” And I’m so glad they did. We played with film and digital, leaned into creative color, and took some risks with video that I can’t wait to share soon. At one point, Jordan looked at me mid-shoot and said, “It’s my wedding—best one to try stuff out on!”

Elise and Michael’s Wedding was a canvas of urban charm in the heart of downtown at Axis Pioneer Square, Seattle. Think indie vibes with a dash of elegance. The ceremony was tranquil amidst the city buzz. A gathering of eclectic souls from far and wide, celebrating love and life. Late night snacks, a live band, and ambient mood lighting set the scene. Here’s to love that’s as unique as a vintage vinyl collection, simply perfect.
