Happy Birthday Jesus! Leona and I want to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas. We are spending Christmas here in Auburn in our Little House and enjoying our time together. We are enjoying worshipping at Kent First Baptist Church and helping out wherever we can! We are thanking the Lord for all that He has done for us and how He watches over us.

Hey, did you know that God wants everyone to call on Him and He even gives us His number!

Romans 10:12-13 NIV
12 "For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

God's number by the telephone dial is 5-3-7-8-7 or numerically J-E-S-U-S. When you call on Him you have access to God the Father.

Romans 10:9-10 tells us how -
9 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

We can't just call any number and have access to God. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." The word translated "way" means road. Jesus is the road to God. The Bible is clear. There is no salvation or entry into the presence of God without receiving Jesus Christ.

Acts 4:12 NIV
12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved."

The Bible clearly teaches there is only one name by which people can be saved. There is no other way to God than through Jesus Christ.

Make sure that all your friends, family and neighbors know how they can have access to God through Jesus Christ. Pray for those who are fearful today because of the circumstances we find ourselves in and then be ready to talk to them about what God has done for you. Help them open up a line of communication to God through Jesus.
