United Is Saying Goodbye to the Middle Seat

🛫 United Airlines is introducing a new Economy Plus seating option that replaces the middle seat with a fixed shared table, giving window and aisle passengers extra elbow room and space to stretch out. The redesigned row will debut on the airline's new Airbus A321XLR fleet, with tickets expected to go on sale later this year.
The aircraft will begin flying domestic routes this fall before expanding to international service in early 2027, making United the first known U.S. airline to offer this innovative seating layout.
