Situated on a sloping site with views of nearby mountains and the valley below, the Thunderhead Residence was designed to accentuate the surrounding views and provide an overall sense of openness that draws inhabitants out into the beautiful natural environment. The design builds off an existing residence which will be completely remodeled and includes an eastern addition housing the main Living and Lounge spaces as well as a southern addition which adds a Primary Bedroom Suite and a new Garage.

The cozy loft space overlooking the open living area of the High Desert Cabin. Multiple skylights provide views out and plenty of natural light.

Looking back across the open kitchen and living space in the High Desert Cabin, you can imagine enjoying the natural surroundings while cozying up next to the indoor/ outdoor fireplace.

Sneak peak of our new high desert cabin project, developed in collaboration with Life Design/ Build. Despite having only a 600sf footprint, this cabin feels much more spacious with a double height and open living area, plenty of natural light and the ability to open up every space to the large surrounding deck space and the natural environment beyond.
