Excited to dive into ’s Ghost Variations and Zig Zag tonight.
For years, I’ve hoped for the opportunity to dance one of Jessica Lang’s ballets, and I’m grateful that moment has finally arrived.
I still remember watching Ghost Variations during my very first season. It was one of those works that stayed with me long after the curtain came down—a ballet filled with depth, soul, imagination, and humanity. It made me think, feel, and reconnect with the reason I fell in love with the arts in the first place.
As an artist, I’ve always found it difficult to connect with works that feels empty or disconnected from a deeper purpose. Jessica’s creations are the opposite. Her choreography speaks to something larger, inviting both the artist and the audience into a shared experience. There is intention, emotion, and honesty in every moment. It truly hits differently.
I’m also fortunate to be sharing the stage with the incredibly talented . Keep an eye on this young artist. A special thank you as well to Josh at the piano, whose musicianship brings Ghost V works to life in such a beautiful way.
And to , thank you for your guidance, thoughtful feedback, and artistry. Whether through observation or conversation, I’m soaking up every lesson and every bit of wisdom I can.
These are the moments that remind me why I do what I do.
Alright, time to get to work. See you all onstage. ✨🖤🩰
Thank you Angela for capturing such beautiful moments I’ll cherish forever 📸

A historic moment. 🇧🇷
Congratulations to on his promotion to Principal Artist at The Australian Ballet — becoming the first Brazilian and the first Black male to achieve this milestone in the company’s history.
Brazil is proud of you. I am proud of you.
As we continue to break barriers across the world, moments like this remind us of what is possible. I hope this achievement opens yet another door for Black Brazilians back home — especially for young Black boys and dancers who are dreaming, watching, and searching for proof that they, too, belong in these spaces.
Today, Davi represents possibility.
Possibility for more Black men.
Possibility for more Black dancers.
Possibility for a future that continues to expand beyond limits that once felt unreachable.
And now, that door has been opened in Australia.
From the Royal Ballet School, to Het National Ballet, and now as a Principal Artist at The Australian Ballet — your journey is a testament to your art, your discipline, your resilience, and your power.
Thank you, Davi, for leading with excellence. For carrying our culture with pride. For being a force, a powerhouse, and a light for so many.
To many more achievements.
To many more dreams realized.
Thank you for your representation, brother.
VOE ALTO! ✨
