Squirrel and Acorn

For adoption: These bonded sisters are approximately 4 months old. They had a rough start to life, they were born on the streets and lost their mom. Squirrel was also attacked prior to being rescued and has a scar on her head and a crooked tail. However they have quickly adapted to indoor life and they love to wrestle and cuddle.

Heartworms are foot-long worms that can live in the heart, lungs and associated blood vessels of affected pets. Heartworm is transmitted when an infected mosquito bites a dog or a cat. Call to schedule a yearly Heartworm test and to start your pet on a preventative.

Being overweight poses significant health risks to your pet, and can shorten their lifespans. Overweight pets are at a greater risk for a weakened immune system, cardiovascular disease, and endocrine and metabolic disorders such as diabetes. If you are concerned about your pets weight schedule an exam with your Veterinarian.

Do you know how often your cat urinates and defecates? Tracking your cat's potty frequency, volume, and color can be helpful to monitor their health :)
