How does a sound become a painting?

Join us on Saturday, July 11 at 1pm for an afternoon with artist Perri Lynch Howard as she leads an in-person walkthrough of her solo exhibition, "Mapping the Invisible." Hear firsthand about the ideas and experiences that shape her distinctive approach to contemporary landscape painting, informed by years of engagement with remote and ecologically sensitive environments.

As she guides visitors through the exhibition, Howard will share excerpts from the field recordings she has gathered in the landscapes that inspired these paintings. Together, they offer a deeper understanding of her creative process and the sensory experiences that shape her practice. The afternoon concludes with a Q&A, followed by a public reception with light refreshments.
