Singer bio: Tenor Derek Sellers is honored to make his debut performance with Thalia Symphony. Recent performance work includes playing Maria Callas’ husband Giovani Meneghini in the west coast debut of La Callas at Puget Sound Concert Opera, Britten’s Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings with the Ravenna Strings, and J.S. Bach’s Coffee Cantata with Engage Opera. Outside of performing, Mr. Sellers spends his weekdays helping his employer Blue Origin build and launch rockets to space, and enjoys dedicating his weekends exploring the South Sound with his lovely wife and adorable son.
