Join Seattle Parks and Recreation and partners for the Beacon Hill Festival on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11 AM to 4 PM at Jefferson Park (3801 Beacon Ave. S).

Enjoy free pottery, painting, and gardening classes where you can create your own projects to take home. We’ll also have live music, bounce houses, food trucks, self-defense classes, kite-making activities, and a talent show!

Many Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities and programs will be closed Thursday, June 4, 2026, due to a Recreation Division staff training day.

Most indoor facilities will be closed, while parks, sprayparks, golf courses, Mounger pool, and select swim beaches will remain open.

Heads up, Seattle! The South Park Spraypark is currently closed, pending the final inspection. We anticipate opening this new amenity soon. The Beacon Hill Spraypark is also temporarily closed this weekend due to a mechanical issue. We expect to have it back online soon.

Join us for the Olmstead Legacy Tours to learn how the Olmstead Brothers shaped and designed the parks system we all love today! Guides from the “Friends of Seattle’s Olmsted Parks” will introduce and lead you on short walks through Seward Park, Washington Park Arboretum, and Volunteer Park. Walks will be on a variety of surfaces, including lawn and gravel paths.
