The Alice
This evening is the last chance to join artist Dan Paz for a participatory dance video!
NO! You do not need any movement experience to participate. Choreographer and dancer, Donnell Williams will be working with us as a group, step by step to build a choreography that engages formal and conceptual properties of light, shadow, connectivity, and power through collective movement.
This evening 630pm- 11pm. Drop in anytime or come for the whole event! Snacks and drinks will be provided. Everyone is invited! The work will be amplified by your presence!
Nov. 17th, 630pm-11pm | Seattle U Park-Logan Field

Acclaimed choreographer and dancer, Donnell Williams will lead a participatory dance that will be filmed at Seattle University Park. The film will be displayed as part of a large-scale projection in Dan's multi-disciplinary body of artwork "the sun never knew how great it was until it struck the side of a building," that explores the physical and psychological effects of light as it operates through forms of forced and voluntary collectivity. (The exhibition specifically contrasts the building of the King County Youth Detention Center with the adjacent Recreational Sports Fields at Seattle University Park) opening at Seattle U's Vachon Gallery on December 6th!
