We're inviting SFF authors and fans + the whole of the literary community to join us for the 2024 Celebrating Octavia event. This year we're highlighting Butler's 1993 novel Parable of the Sower, which opens in the year 2024, and its sequel Parable of the Talents.

We're asking the community to participate in the celebration by posting a video of you reading Verse 54 of Earthseed: The First Book of the Living, the in-world religious text created by the novel's protagonist. If video isn't your jam, you can join in by posting the text (found below)!
