Sending immense gratitude to the wonderful folks who showed up for Queercrow last Sunday! We were thrilled to show these rarities for free this year, and also that so many of you joined us for this celebration of q***r archival footage. This 4th annual collaboration with MIPoPS included such great programming, and we were fortunate enough to sit down and have a discussion with Lisa, who was featured in the film Le***an Impress Card by Ingrid Wilhite. This ongoing project with MiPops has truly been a joy to many, because these digitizations are positively loaded with q***r history that has seldom been seen by the general public. Not only that, so much Seattle history is preserved in many of these shorts and films that Scarecrow houses. Archival footage such as this is so important to preserve and share, and we are so fortunate to have shared this history with you. Thank you ❤️

With distinctive styles, insane levels of details, and bizarre yet grounded plots, these two movies really make you think of what can be achieved with real, human artists and they make you tearfully happy to exist in a world where such art exists (and you get to experience it!). These films are beautiful, goofy, emotional, and all around worthwhile watching. If you aren’t really into animated films, these films might convert you into a true believer.”
