A new release from Paradigm Press on Amazon. "The Best Laid Plans!" Another in the Gordian Files Series.
"In Washington DC, a presidential election is apparently stolen, and top members of the new administration come to office with a single purpose in mind – to rid the world of radical extremism. The Group, headed by the new President John Jenkins, and driven by the ruthless CIA Director, plans to incite a war between Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shiite Iran. A war that will include a nuclear exchange and the loss of millions of lives. The cabal intends to fill in the vacuum with American and Russian power and control not only the extent of future extremism, but also the world’s major oil reserves.
Standing in their way is an unknown engineer who is working in Arabia. His name is Kevin O’Reilly, and unbeknownst to the cabal, he becomes suspicious of the project he is working on and enlists the help of Naval Academy classmates in an effort to find out what’s really going on. Their efforts misdirect the nuclear missiles and avert the intended holocaust.
Meanwhile, in DC, a covert group of ‘Open Government’ investigators discerns the true nature of the election fraud and discovers the computer process behind it as they play one side against another in an effort to thwart the new administration. To complicate matters, the Shiite mastermind behind the rebellion is an old cleric named Quadeem who will not comply with the desires of his controllers in Russia, and who uses the arms the US provides to attack the Saudi government and threaten the plans the Cabal has made."

NEXT SERAPHISTS SCI-FI NOVEL - "Cogitat Ergo"
My latest in the Sci-Fi Series "The Seraphists Universe" is available on Amazon as a paperback or as a kindle edition.
“Cogito Ergo Sum” is the famous Latin title of a treatise of the French philosopher, Rene Descartes on existentialism. It means “I think, therefore I am”. It’s always been easy for humanity to recognize sentience since on Earth it walks on two feet and speaks. But what if that wasn’t always the case?
Cogitat Ergo is the sixth in a multi-part series created to explore a universe where good and evil are engaged in constant struggle and man promotes the cause of the good as he expands into the galaxy.
The premise for the series is a simple question. If the universe has a distinct and unyielding set of physical laws that govern our progress and our actions, then why not a distinct moral philosophy as well? And how do those laws apply when an intelligence is alien to mankind’s understanding of sentience.
Each of my Sci-Fi novels is a story told from a different perspective - this one is narrated by a musical genius. Music was the key to solving the sentience riddle.
A MESSAGE FROM A CLASSMATE WHO READ "jIHAD"
Thought I would write a quick note since I just finished the 2nd book in your Infidels series. I rated it a 5 star, but accidentally, hit a key and could not find an easy way to re-enter the eval for some writing.
BZ!! You left me hooked and anxiously awaiting the next book, you devil.
If we ever get together, I would love to hear about your writing. Did you even get any movie interest? How many of your classmates asked for the Keven O’Reilly role? Was there any flack to the series from the Muslim world, you Infidel? Do you keep in touch with any old friends in Saudi Arabia? Etc.
Also, Hank, I have been thinking that we are kindred souls in many ways.
We both went to flight school
We both ended up as Navy engineers
We both grew up in ethnic neighborhoods and appreciate this blessing
We both are concerned about current trends in our country
Both of our wives just had recent surgeries, and we were asking the doctor about consuming alcohol
We both have been to Dillonvale (despite the differences in GPS data)
However, we do have some differences:
Not sure if you have ever had the “joy” of being a whistleblower
I still do not know what offsides is in soccer, despite rooming with Lucho Alvarez (slight exaggeration)
You know how to write WELL
Thanks again for sharing your writing skills!!!!!!
A CLASSMATE REVIEWS MY INFIDELS NOVEL
(From David Charvat) Hank, I just finished your book "Infidels". I really enjoyed it. I love your humor and the way you make the reader find it hard to put down the book. I have not read your books since the Plebe trilogy, which I also loved. But I think we need to classify you as Writer Laureate for our class, with maybe a nod to David Poyer too. You are now on the level with my favorite writers: John Grisham, Ken Follett, Patrick O'Brian, & Dewey Lambdin.
