There’s no doubt that FB Ads are effective for amplifying your message. They’re pretty much the express lane on the freeway, getting you to your goals faster and more efficiently.
BUT I’d be lying to you if I said it was really as simple as buying an Ad and sending it out into the world.
There’s a science to it and it takes some trial and error to get used to it.
So, this is why I wanted to give you some essential tips when it comes to writing up your next FB Ad.
These are things to AVOID at all costs, saving you time and money in the long run:
❌ Starting without a strategy: Put some clear goals in place, and a structure for measuring them.
❌ You didn't test your headline: Headlines make or break a post. Period. Make sure you’re drawing your audience in. Tease them, make them want to learn more!
❌ You aren’t speaking to your ideal client: This may seem obvious, but you really have to think about who you’re targeting, what they need and where they want to be in the future. Getting inside your ideal client’s head and creating copy from that space is a game-changer.
❌ You’re using the word YOU too much: FB penalizes for using the word YOU excessively in your Ads. It's not about calling others out, but rather, drawing them in with your own story.
If you’re focusing on fixing these 4 things within your FB ad copy, you’re going to notice a real difference in your results. Trust me!
Now I want to hear from you: what are you struggling with when it comes to FB ads?

Struggling to get useful data from your Ad Campaigns?!
The key is making sure your pages are all pixeled properly - that way Facebook™ can collect info and identify the type of person who is most likely to become your next paying customer. ✨
(ICYMI - the Pixel is a small piece of code placed on your website and funnel pages used to collect data and help track conversions from Facebook™ Ads) 😉
Facebook™ is extremely literal in how it runs campaigns, so for example, if you are running a “Page Likes” campaign, Facebook™ is going to find people who are most likely to click “like” on your page - HOWEVER, these click-happy people are NOT necessarily the same as the people as those who will make a purchase!
So while Page Likes campaigns are great for getting social proof on your page and building up credibility, beyond that - you are potentially attracting the wrong leads, messing up the pixel, and not getting any return on Ad Spend! Yikes! 😬
Pixeling your pages may sound complicated, but it’s a one and done step that is essential to running successful ad campaigns online - because when it’s done right, Facebook™ is able to place your offer directly in front of the exact right people, for less money in Ad Spend! Now that’s more like it! 😅

I see a lot of coaches who aren't taking full advantage of retargeting in their marketing strategies, and want to share few tips on how to set yourself up for successful retargeting campaigns:
✨ On the technical side of things, your pages must be pixeled properly so that Facebook™ can learn about your customers. Otherwise you are wasting money and losing very valuable data.
✨ Include a direct Call-to-Action on the thank you page of your opt-in (ex: join my free group, watch the webinar) this is very valuable real estate - put it to work!
✨ Use an email list service (like mailchip/convertkit/etc.) and automate an email nurture sequence after opting-in
✨ Regularly post great content to your page - provide value, don’t pitch!
Basically, take advantage of every opportunity to collect data (so that you can build audiences based on behavior) and be seen (bc the more someone sees you, the stronger the trust and rapport - and with more layers of exposure, you get faster results) 🙌🙌
Just remember that the best retargeting doesn’t feel at all like an Ad. The goal here is to create genuine connections with real people - not to pitch, pitch, pitch. We have seen that the best practice is to pitch your offer directly only about 1x out of every 14 posts.
Where do you need the most help with your retargeting strategy… email nurture sequence, great content, live video, Facebook™ group? All of the above? Hit me up 👇✨

We all know that Lead Magnets are a great list building tool, but the reality is that lists can quickly grow cold if they are not properly cared for. 🥶🥶
Don’t get me wrong, Lead Magnets are an incredibly powerful tool to attract the right people into your funnel - and there is a reason why they are the gold standard of online marketing - they work! ✨
Especially when the Lead Magnet aligns directly with the offer - ex: you wouldn’t put out a recipe e-book and then retarget with an offer on business coaching! You want your lead magnet to be directly related to the paid offer, and to provide immediate value to whoever downloads it.
The idea is the lead magnet opens the door and establishes contact - great! But it’s what comes next that really counts - now, it’s up to you to nurture the initial contact, to build trust and rapport and to demonstrate your expertise so that the lead turns into a paying customer. 💰💰💰
This nurture step is so important and often overlooked or abandoned. A high-ticket coaching funnel can take 30 days, 60 days, even 90 days for a lead to convert into a sale, so the things you do, say, and post each day after the opt-in are crucial!!
Here are some ideas on how to nurture your leads:
🌟Set up an automated email sequence that runs after the download of the lead magnet
🌟Invite your leads to join your free Facebook(TM) group and share valuable content
🌟Go live! Video is one of the best and quickest ways to build up that Know/Like/Trust factor!
🌟Lastly, set up a retargeting campaign with ads that don’t feel like ads!
This may seem like a lot of work, but there are ways to automate and streamline your content - hit me up for a free strategy session! ✨

5 Things You Can & Should Do With Evergreen Content on Social Platforms:
1. Engage your audience! Ask questions. A prime example is this very post. (Do I need Evergreen Content?)
2. Create a series of fill in the blanks. I’ll provide two examples.
Fitness Coach: I find ____________ is the biggest challenge in creating healthy habits.
Real Estate Agent: The most important thing I should keep in mind when searching for a new home is _______________.
***You can utilize responses to create new content. Easy peasy.
3. Take a “one-liner” from an evergreen piece you’ve written and incorporate it into a custom image. It literally takes 5 minutes to create your own custom graphic. My go to is Canva because it is incredibly user friendly.
4. Use evergreen content to promote your business across multiple platforms.
Lets use Twitter as an example: Go ahead and tweet that graphic you just created, the one with the quote! Don’t forget to share a link to the full blog post.
No, blog.
Include a link to your Linkedin account.
Or Facebook Business Page.
You get the point.
5. Create “Did you Know” Questions. Here what you’re essentially doing is sharing facts.
I created several of these recently for a custom home builder.
Example: “Did you know that building a custom home can save you money in the long run?”
👉🏼 Before I sign off I need to drive one last point home.
Don’t leave your evergreen content sitting on a shelf. Yes, it has a long shelf life, but it needs a continued platform for engagement. Re-share it on your social media accounts! Reinvent and update older pieces. Be creative!!
As you do so, you will establish yourself as a respected force, an authority figure within your niche! 👑

You are one of a kind, you know that? It's time we make sure the world knows that too.
Achieving your goals starts with being rooted in your identity
Why does being rooted in your identity make such a difference in your success?
Let’s think about it deeper for a moment...
💥 If you identify as a fit person, you are much more likely to act in a manner that supports that identity. Movement and nourishment are just the norm for you.
💥 If you identify as an entrepreneur, having a no-BS attitude when it comes to employing yourself; disciplining your daily schedule, taking risks, and being focused on income-producing activities are just the norm.
💥 If you identify as a successful person, your focus is unstoppable and nobody can stop you on your mission. You see failures as learning lessons. It is the norm to be met with resistance but also to see breakthrough by persevering.
If you aren’t getting the results you want, take a deep look at how you see yourself.
This is truly the starting point for transformation.
Let your deeper passions shine through in all your doing.
Captivate your audience by revealing your true identity. Believe in yourself so fiercely that the world has no choice but to believe in you too!
