CONGRATULATIONS H&M!

You both are inspiring in how easy-going and present you were yesterday, just taking your day in and enjoying your people and truly engaging with your guests as they celebrate you. Believe it or not, this is not always the case, especially when we had all five seasons of PNW weather in one day. You are real troopers!

A big thank you to our team yesterday for pulling off H&M’s beautiful celebration. Yesterday reminded me how valuable it is to have an experienced team in place that just took on what the weather and circumstances threw at us. Truly appreciate you all!

All film. All soul.

I miss it. I miss shooting an entire wedding on film.

I miss the deliberate slowdown, the anticipation, the game of waiting upon and nailing that decisive moment.

I miss wrapping everything up and sending them off to the ether, knowing/not knowing if I DID nail it.

And the elation of discovering that I did (while missing a few).

I miss my clients who trusted this process and wanted nothing more.

200 frames? That’s more than enough to bring us back. We love it.

I hope there are still couples and families out there who will go on on this romantic, nostalgic, slightly risk trek with me where light and chemistry, and a little love and luck, can turn into alchemy and magic and time-travel.
