Seattle’s mayor has announced his plan for the state required increase density throughout Seattle’s residential neighborhoods:

Mayor Harrell proposes housing density in every Seattle neighborhood

How Harrell’s new housing density plan could transform Seattle The idea is to have 24 new “neighborhood centers” within 800 feet of transit and commercial areas where apartments as high as six stories could be allowed.
