I’ve been a curator and a maker my whole life—of music, art, fashion, and feelings too big to hold alone. From designing jewelry to writing bestselling books like and , every chapter of my work has been about gathering beauty and meaning to share with others (and to spark my own joy too).

Each week now, I pull a tarot card (from the deck and I were so lucky to publish with ), reflect on its message, and create a mixtape inspired by it — a soundtrack for reflection, expression, and self-care. This first mix inspired by the Temperance card Reversed, “Rebalancing Ritual” kicks off the series. I’ll be sharing them here weekly… though I’m already a few weeks behind, so expect a little catch-up drop soon!

I do well with little mantras. A corny catchphrase does something good for my inner monologue. If my brain is going to repeat and repeat and repeat, I’d rather it circle around something hopeful. ✨

This one—“Want better, do better”—is one I made for myself. But maybe it’s one you’d like to see in your daily space too? Thinking about making it something you can put wherever you might need the reminder: for me, for you, for all.

Happy 1st Birthday to my youngest book baby—and my one and only tarot deck!

One year ago this week, Every Little Thing You Do Is Magic made its way into the world, published by the wonderful after four years of dreaming, refining, and slowly bringing it all to life. and I searched for two years to find the right publishing home, and another two to craft something that truly felt like us. 💫

What I love most about this deck is our reimagining of the court cards. We said goodbye to hierarchy—King, Queen, Knight, Page—and instead welcomed a more tender, human journey of self.

• The Apprentice (formerly Page), full of wonder and childlike awe, just beginning to explore the world.

• The Champion (Knight), riding high on momentum and action, discovering their voice and vision.

• The Oracle (Queen), turning inward with artistry and depth, seeking truths that words can’t always hold.

• The Elder (King), drawing from a well of wisdom to observe the patterns within and without.

To us, the court cards aren’t titles to earn—they’re archetypes we all move through, again and again, in our evolution. Finding these new titles for cards we treasure was one of the most magical moments of creating this deck with Callie. Here’s to many more years of journeying with this deck and with all of you who’ve welcomed it into your lives. 🖤
