We’re happy to share that Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen will be the honored guest at Stanford’s Buddha’s Birthday Celebration on Sunday, April 12, hosted by Zen master Rebecca Nie, Stanford's Buddhist Chaplain-Affiliate. The celebration includes the traditional ceremony of bathing the Baby Buddha statue, a ritual observed by Buddhists around the world in honor of the Buddha’s birth, followed by desserts and spring drinks in community. Later in the day, Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen and Zen master Rebecca Nie will also lead the half-day retreat, Joy from Your Inner Child, featuring Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen's dharma talk, yoga and guided meditation, and dialogue with the teachers.
