Today is International Day of the Girl Child, and we celebrate GRACE Nanana at HELGA in Kenya, where girls are rescued from early marriage and motherhood, violence, and female ge***al mutilation.
With equal access to education, girls truly have the ability to change the world.
Globally, if all girls received a primary education, 1.7 million children would be rescued from poverty-induced malnutrition. In addition, if all girls worldwide received a secondary education, 12.2 million children could avoid malnutrition and stunted growth.
Investing in girls is not only the right thing to do, it’s the wise thing to do.

Today is International Literacy Day, and we are so happy to be celebrating with on Thursday, September 26 in San Francisco, CA.
Literacy is something we too often take for granted. Were it not for a family or community’s support, access to books and patient teachers, not one of us would have the skill set to read and comprehend. Literacy is a critical building block to everything: from creativity and fantasy, to science, math, history, social justice, and human rights.
Please send us a direct message if you’re interested in joining us September 26 to meet Worldreader and Richer Life Foundation leaders and supporters and hear about the work that’s being done for children across the world.
We’d love to celebrate with you.
Could anyone else just sit and watch them all day? We can’t get enough! Wishing our friends on the Mara and around the world a Happy World Elephant Day!
