Peer Seattle

Pride Month is an opportunity to celebrate community, resilience, and the people who helped create the spaces many of us rely on today.
Peer Washington was founded by members of Washington's LGBTQ+ community, and those roots remain an important and visible part of who we are. For decades, we have worked to create welcoming spaces where people can find support, build relationships, and connect with others who understand. We're proud to celebrate Pride and grateful to be part of a community that continues to support one another through challenges and triumphs alike.

Many people have heard the name Peer Washington. Fewer know what we actually do.
Peer Washington is an LGBTQ+-rooted organization that provides peer emotional support and development services for people impacted by addiction, mental health challenges, HIV/AIDS, and other chronic illnesses. Every day, people come through our doors looking for support, connection, resources, training, or simply a place to talk with someone who understands. That's what peer support is all about.
