Vector Hold

I'd just like to throw this out there. With the takeover of AI generated music flooding music streaming sites cheaping the art of millions of real artists including myself, I'll never create or upload anything AI music related, EVER. While I might use sampling, midi file grabs, take things here and there I'll never cheat an audience.

There's no real way to stop it anymore other than being aware of it and living with the bu****it

I've thought about even ripping off melodies and hooks from AI generated electronic music because it's copywrite free since a "human" didn't create it and I'm pretty sure there isn't an AI music legal team desgined to take down a real human artist. So it's kind of up for grabs. Do we really want to do that? So many questions.

Disclaminer:

Yes, I am guilty of using AI generated artwork from time to time but as my defense I still hire real graphic artists for larger budget album releases. Also, I outsouce real musicians for recordings such as guitar players, vocalist and the like. That will always be a thing in the Vector Hold world.

Just woke up to the news of GosT's passing. Very sad.

We crossed paths about 3 times when we were on the same bills together. Once in Sacramento when we raged until 5am and saw the sun come up. Second was at the DNA Lounge in SF when I opened for him and Dance With The Dead and the third at 1015 Folsom again in SF. He was a cool guy and will be missed.
