We are busy working away and have taken some time to share photography of the BASIS Brooklyn project. Congratulations to BASIS, Savcon Construction, AMA, Silman, Longman Lindsay, RDA, PHA, Vitacco, Cushman Wakefield and all partners who made this imaginative project happen on a tight schedule during the pandemic, in NYC.

The 65,000 square foot BASIS Independent Brooklyn serves 385 PreK through Grade 2 students with expansive exterior windows that engage the surrounding city and bring light deep into each learning space. Throughout every floor, the design also layers in a story of the school’s Brooklyn Bear mascot growing up in New York City from early childhood to working professional, using interactive graphics and mechanical play elements to inspire young dreamers.
