Formed in a studio apartment at the Pontius Building in 2011 and expanding with new members along the way, Highway Evangelism is Wendell Howell, Dave Ewing, Noah Broestl, Jaron Lochner, and Shawn McClure. Their sound is a warm folk rock blend of early Old 97s and the Avett Brothers with wide influences ranging from Waylon to Gorgoroth.
