Serious question for you:
Have you ever stood at the base of a route, physically ready, skills dialed, gear sorted, and something still held you back?

I’ve watched this happen to athlete after athlete at Alpine Athletics. Capable climbers turned back not because their bodies failed, but because their minds didn’t have the tools for the moment.
