I'm very happy to welcome Terah Bruce to the office! For September she will be working Tuesdays and Saturdays but will be expanding her hours soon to include Mondays and Thursdays. She has a wonderful knowledge of kinesiology and incredible injury treatment skills. She is currently finishing up her advanced certification in Thai Massage and I'm very pleased to be able to add this form of massage to our list of treatment options.
Here's her bio:
I am a Spectrum Center School of Massage graduate currently acquiring a certification in Thai Yoga Massage. My long-standing passion for dance and other movement arts has fostered an understanding of kinesiology and the connection between mind and body. While my usual style of massage gravitates toward deep tissue and therapeutic work, I’m just as able to use lighter pressure for a more relaxing session. I often adapt Thai Yoga Massage and its rhythmic compression and passive stretching techniques into my table sessions. By understanding each body as unique and using my specialized skillset, I can offer a massage experience tailored to the client’s wants and needs.
Her schedule is now up and available on Schedulicity so please schedule today!
Schedulicity has finally released their iPhone app! I checked it out this morning and it seems to be a good one so I hope this helps make scheduling even easier.

How a Mysterious Body Part Called Fascia Is Challenging Medicine Fascia is a web of fibrous tissue that permeates the body, but is it really the "Cinderella Tissue" that new age therapists, Rolfers, and yoga instructors suggest? The fascial system is still a medical mystery. But that could soon change, thanks to an unlikely alliance between researchers…
