Come tour the Cedar River Watershed and learn where Seattle's drinking water comes from. This is a unique learning opportunity in a protected mountain watershed that is closed to unsupervised public access. We’ll start with introductions at the Cedar River Watershed Education Center and then travel by van into the closed boundaries of the municipal watershed to learn about the cultural and natural history of the Watershed, and discover more about our connection to our tap water. We will explore various sites, taking short walks along the way, and finish the tour with a visit to the Cedar Falls Waterfall. Transportation from Meadowbrook Community Center is included.
August 7 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
