Please help spread the word about great ensemble up here in the PNW who needs some help getting the rest of the way to Dayton!
Help Us Save Our Show: Our truck with all the percussion equipment, every drum, every piece of pit gear, every carefully packed instrument is broken down in Granger Wyoming undergoing repairs. To get back on the road— fast — we’ve flown an additional driver to Wyoming, hoping to cover the remaining 1500 miles — 24 hours– to Dayton, Ohio in time for these kids to compete at 5:30pm Thursday.

We’re so grateful to do what we do! Read about this last year here at JCM in our most recent blog post. Read the full version below:
As we look back on the past 12 months, we’re incredibly grateful to share that this has been another banner year for us across the board. We’ve been able to serve more clients, create more new shows, attend more conferences, and watch more ensembles bring our shows to life than ever before. From marching band to indoor, our community continues to grow in every region of the country, and we couldn’t be more energized about where things are headed. As we continue to grow, one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to the people behind the programs. We remain focused on the people we serve: the students. Everything we do is to help create lifelong memories for them and we do that by remaining grounded in our core values of creating shows that are fun to play, fun to watch, and competitive.
This season saw major achievements from both our new commission clients and our resale catalog programs. We’ve watched ensembles across the country find competitive and artistic success with JCM shows, and we’re proud of the results that our clients are achieving on the field and floor:
We helped multiple groups start marching band and indoor programs this year. We had 3 schools attend BOA Grand Nationals and dozens of state champions across the country. Our friends at Greendale High School also participated in the 2026 Rose Parade! But our favorite stories from the season had nothing to do with trophies, and everything to do with growth. We loved hearing about clients who were able to take steps forward on their journeys and also loved that this looked different for every single school we partnered with. For some, it was winning a state championship for the first time. For others, it was getting a marching band out on the field for the first time! All of these stories of growth from our community, no matter their size, continue to inspire us.
This past fall we rolled out our new indoor catalog, including some fun concepts for indoor winds, percussion, and color guard. Alongside that rollout was our fall 2026 catalogue! Our team produced a record number of shows packed with a diverse range of symphonic, pop, chamber, and contemporary source music. The variety of voices represented in our shows continues to expand, giving our clients more options than ever to find the right fit for their ensembles.
We are excited to continue working with incredible independent organizations across the pageantry arts activity, including the Madison Scouts, Seattle Cascades, Hawthorne Caballeros, Columbians, and Vaquero Winds. Collaborations like these push our creative team forward and influence the music and concepts that make their way into the JCM catalog.
In August, our team gathered in Seaside, Oregon for a creative retreat to map out the season ahead; developing new show ideas, refining our systems, and planning how we can better serve our clients. That work is already showing up in our processes and in the music you’ll hear this year.
As we grow, we’re investing heavily in brand new systems that make working with JCM smoother and more transparent. This includes the largest infrastructure change in our company’s history that we are close to rolling out! From basic inquiries to contracts to music delivery, we are implementing new tools and workflows that improve communication, streamline the sales process, and ensure that every client receives the same high level of attention and clarity. We’ve also introduced a new regional exclusivity policy to better protect programs and maintain competitive balance and expanded support resources for both commission and resale clients.
We’re still actively seeking new clients in several states and regions, and we’re offering special regional pricing for ensembles in these areas. If you’ve been considering working with JCM, now is a great time to reach out! We’re looking for first-time clients in Alaska, Montana, North Dakota, Rhode Island, and Vermont, so if you’re in any of these states, we have a regional discount for you!
This winter has been packed with incredible events including BOA Grand Nationals, The Midwest Clinic, FMEA in Tampa, and TMEA in San Antonio. Next month, we’ll make our way out to WGI Championships again before we all gear up for a summer of drum corps! In the Pacific Northwest, we had a fantastic experience at the Bands of America event in Moscow, Idaho. The energy and enthusiasm from directors and students there was incredible. If you’ve never attended, we highly recommend checking it out! Connecting with so many directors, designers, and friends in person reminds us why this community is so special.
Commission slots for fall marching band have filled up very quickly this year. If you’re interested in a custom show for the upcoming season, we would still encourage you to reach out to see what we can do to meet your needs. We also would encourage you to check out some of our new add-on services that we now offer including:

As always, we’re incredibly thankful for each and every relationship that we have built in this community. We are constantly overwhelmed by the love and support we receive from our clients and friends. Every show, every arrangement, and every collaboration is a gift and we absolutely love what we do!
Here’s to another year of growth, creativity, and connection.
