We’re out in Seattle & King County next week for Juneteenth!

On June 19th, 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced that the enslaved African Americans in the state were free. 161 years later, we celebrate our freedom. And we’re excited to celebrate the holiday with you!

Visit LANGSTON’s table and say hi at the following free Juneteenth events:
- Juneteenth in Kenmore: Wednesday, June 17, 3 to 7 PM at Kenmore Town Square
- NAAM’s “The Sound of Connection”: Friday, June 19, 10 AM to 5 PM at Judkins Park & Northwest African American Museum
- Africatown’s Juneteenth Festival: Friday, June 19, 1 to 8 PM at Jimi Hendrix Park
- Seattle Art Museum’s Celebration: Saturday, June 20, 12 to 4 PM at SAM Downtown
