The Little Saigon Creative Marketplace & Library will be closed on Wednesday, July 1 for our staff retreat and Friday, 7/3 in observance of Independence Day.

We will will be open during our regular business hours on Saturday, July 4!

Join Friends of Little Sài Gòn and Vietnamese American author and performer, Susan Lieu, for an intimate and experiential fireside conversation on healing, identity, family, and storytelling inspired by Lieu’s debut memoir, “The Manicurist’s Daughter,” and the launch of her self-published Vietnamese-language edition.

We invite members of the Vietnamese diaspora, Vietnamese heritage speakers, and families navigating intergenerational healing to the gathering that will include a moderated book talk, breakout sessions, and a book signing. 

The evening will offer the community an opportunity to engage deeply with themes of grief, identity, trauma, and reconciliation through literature and conversation.
