In a few minutes, I will present a lecture-recital about one of my favorite compositions of all time, Ravel’s Miroirs, here at Galvin Hall for the piano program, and then I will have the privilege of adjudicating a competition immediately thereafter.

Please catch me with my esteemed faculty colleagues Liba Shacht, John Sharp, and Rebecca Schorsch for the 2023 CCPA PianoFest finale (Sunday, November 5, 4:30PM Central Time, Ganz Hall, Chicago College of Performing Arts, Roosevelt University) - together we perform some of the most heart-wrenching Rachmaninoff songs for voice and piano (the complete Op. 38 cycle plus selections from Op. 21), as well as his early Piano Trio in G minor, nicknamed the “Elegiaque.” For those who cannot be there in person, the livestream is free and available anytime - link in bio.
