Did ya know people with diabetes make an extra 180 decisions a day.... have to make : to lower the list price of insulin. Will PhRMA finally put patients over profits?

When someone says “cinnamon cures diabetes” me: does fireball count? 😂🔥🔥🔥

PSA: cinnamon does NOT cure type 1 diabetes.... although let’s look into this. Are you ready for a deep dive? A study of the effects of cinnamon in type 1: “There were no significant differences in final A1C..., change in A1C..., total daily insulin intake, or number of hypoglycemic episodes between the cinnamon and placebo arms [arms= different study groups]” (source 1). Effects of cinnamon in type 2: “ The results of this study demonstrate that intake of 1, 3, or 6 g of cinnamon per day reduces serum glucose, triglyceride, LDL cholesterol, and total cholesterol in people with type 2 diabetes” (source 2).

What about the other types of diabetes?

One day you are crying chugging juice, the next you are dancing in the street.. 💪🏽💪🏽.

My last post, where I was drenched in tears, received SO MUCH LOVE. It was literally overwhelming! I can’t even express what all your comments mean to me. Honestly, I almost didn’t post it, fearing it was “too depressing” or “am I an ugly crier?!”.. Your comments and love reminded me that the diabetes community craves raw & real stories. Your stories are important. Share your experiences. The good, the bad and the ugly crying. The DOC is here for you 💙
