2016-2017 Houston World Championship Awards The official blog of the FIRST Tech Challenge - a STEM robotics programs for students grades 7-12.

Congratulations to all SAAS students who competed in the MATE Underwater robotics competition Saturday May 13th. SAAS fielded two teams, a Ranger and a Navigator class team. Blue Shift Navigators won the Team Spirit award and finished 3rd in the Navigator category at the event.

Underwater robotics had a chance to visit Williamson and Associates in Ballard for a tour. They make deep sea scouting and drilling underwater robots. Check them out at http://www.wassoc.com/. We are grateful and had a great time.
