At Billings, Students build expeditionary skills by learning through experience. 6th graders navigated a 3.5 mile hike on Cougar Mountain helping students practice observation, problem-solving, and adaptability in a real-world setting.

Our 6th graders are exploring weather and climate through hands-on labs, simulations, and new scientific vocabulary. This week, students completed an Albedo energy lab, investigating how different surfaces reflect and absorb heat—and making real-world connections along the way!
