Houseboat designs from my kid Blue Turtles. All docked together. ❤️ And that’s a wrap. 🙇‍♀️

The Blue Turtles kids explored Lake Union by kayak to check out the variety of house boats. The age of the highlights ranged from 1912 to 2010. Most of the +\- 500 Seattle houseboats are from the Depression, still floating on big logs. One of their favorites is the 650sf, 1930 yellow house currently on the market for $2.75m. 😳. They’ve each designed their own floating home that they will build in the studio next week!

My kid Blue Turtles are designing cars. So we explored some cool ones. They seem to like the boxy 80s designs. Guess which one is my fave!

On our latest Blue Turtles teen adventures we explored idiophones - percussion instruments that make sound by striking, plucking, shaking or scraping. The kids designed and fabricated their own instruments and even had a garage band jam session! 🎶
