SAMC Bangladesh 03/19/2025

Dear Friends and Supporters of SAMC Bangladesh,

We warmly welcome the sacred month of Ramadan—a time of reflection, gratitude, and renewal. Ramadan is a special season for Muslims, marking the period when the first verses of the Qur’an were revealed to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in 7th-century Arabia. It’s a time for self-reflection, discipline, and extending a helping hand to those in need, as Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset to purify the body, mind, and heart.

A central aspect of Ramadan is the practice of zakaat, an obligatory form of charity that supports the marginalized and the poor. This Ramadan, your donations to SAMC can count toward fulfilling your zakaat.

How Your Donation/Zakaat Will Make a Difference:

Scholarships for Higher Education: Your contributions help fund scholarships for women pursuing higher studies, including fields like nursing, transforming the lives of these young women and their families.

Advanced Eyecare Services: Your donations enable us to upgrade our equipment, enhancing the rigor and depth of our examinations and expanding our eyecare services.

Strengthening Women’s Futures: By sharing crucial information and building community connections, your support empowers women with vital resources—from nutrition and maternal health guidance to financial literacy and personal safety education—paving the way for a secure, informed future.

As we reflect on our recent achievements and embrace the spirit of Ramadan, we invite you to continue this journey with us. Every dollar counts—whether you make a one-time gift or subscribe monthly, your contribution is an essential part of our mission to create enduring change.

Stay safe and stay blessed,
