One box. One Ziploc bag. One story at a time.

My grandma and I have started digitizing decades of family photos so she can enjoy them from her computer and TV. What began as organizing has turned into something much deeper — remembering, storytelling, and honoring the life of her sister, Pauline.

This photo captures five generations of women in our family. Strong. Independent. Loyal to each other through everything.

A quiet reminder that the photos sitting in your closets and storage bins are more than clutter… they’re pieces of your family’s story.

I’m working on it 1–2 hours a day, slowly preserving these memories for the next generation.

If you’d like to see how I’m organizing and digitizing everything, I’d be happy to share the process. 🤍

We are giving you our top 3 organization tips for the new year to get your home feeling clutter free, peaceful and relaxing.

START SMALL
The thought of trying to tackle your entire home can bring a sense of overwhelm and will most likely have you throwing in the towel before you even begin. We suggest starting small when it comes to tackling that clutter, whether it be with one room, one closet or even one drawer, you will feel that sense of accomplishment once one space is complete.

CREATE KEEP, DONATE & TOSS PILES
As you are going through each space make sure to create piles, or even better use boxes or containers, to sort through everything and put them in the appropriate spot. Create a box for things you want to donate and then things you want to toss.

GIVE EVERYTHING A PLACE
Once you’ve done your overhaul of your space, before you put everything you are keeping back, make sure to think through where everything should live. It will be easier to keep your space organized if you give everything a proper place.
