It is with a heavy heart we share that we have sold and closed Duke’s Seafood on Alki effective this morning (Thursday, April 3).

Our Alki location has been a vibrant part of the West Seattle community for almost 25 years, with two levels of dining and two outdoor patios offering iconic views of Alki Beach and Puget Sound.

As with many other businesses in West Seattle, Duke’s Alki has struggled to recover post-pandemic and with the lengthy West Seattle Bridge closure (30 months), forcing us to miss three full summers.

This was a location-specific business decision at Alki only. We shared this news with our Alki team members and are providing transition assistance and are also in the process of evaluating opportunities at our other locations.

We absolutely loved creating memories for our loyal guests and neighbors at Duke’s on Alki and are extremely disappointed to have to do this, given the many challenges we were unable to overcome. We look forward to welcoming guests at any of our six other regional locations: Bellevue, Lake Union, Green Lake, Kent, Southcenter and Tacoma.

We are incredibly grateful for our time at Alki and thank the West Seattle community for so many amazing years!
