The latest from Wallingford:

"Yesteryear" by Caro Claire Burke. A successful trad wife influencer is catapulted back to the year 1855, and must confront the reality that she'd been projecting online without camera tricks, nannies, or modern amenities.

"A World Appears" by Michael Pollan. Consciousness; Even the most curmudgeonly academic and fringe researcher can agree that it feels like.. something. This book explores some of the most interesting attempts across disciplines to explain that ineffable experience.

"The Midnight Train" by Matt Haig. What if you had a second chance at a once-in-a-lifetime love? In this first new installment into the Midnight World, Haig's novel explores the most human corners of self-reflection, regret, and our choices at life's crossroads.

Only at the Magus Annex in Wallingford! Open Thursday - Monday, 11am - 7pm.

We've gotten a bunch of new kids' comics in recently - more than we can even fit on the shelf... the selection is awful bountiful, so check it out while it's here! *Rings dinner bell.* We got the new Warrior Cats graphic novels, we gotcher Dog Mans, Cat Kids, Babysitter Clubs, Amulets, lots of other lovely stuff on the shelf. You want Bone? We have every Bone, except for the ones we don't have (2 and 8). Comics are very popular with the kids lately, so for gifting and the like I recommend it highly.

Little Grandpa wants to show you his favorite teensy tiny selections from our store - the ones that aren't on the shop floor because they're so cute and beautiful and perfect that people would want to steal them. But... hm... it seems like Little Grandpa trusts you...? That's pretty big. He doesn't trust just anybody. He's been burned a lot of times. Clearly, he can tell you've got a nose for deals and quality books... you shop at Magus Books, after all :)
