🏃🏽🏃🏾‍♀️Move-A-Thon Recap: Maple proudly had 27 donors raise over $3,000 for our Move-A-Thon team, though we're sure there were more through the general donation page, so THANK YOU for your support! Our activities at Maple had great engagement: we had over 25 people show up to help clean up the neighborhood and had a fun day with your kids engaging in small group activities at school.

Overall, SESSFA has only reached half of our goal of $600,000 and anyone can still donate through April 30. Donate HERE:

Move-A-Thon is back—let’s move for a cause!

Move-A-Thon is the biggest annual fundraiser for the SE Seattle Schools Fundraising Alliance and Maple’s largest fundraiser of the year. From March 23–April 4, 17 Southeast Seattle schools will work together to raise $600,000 to support after-school programs, music equipment, school events, classroom supplies, and more. Funds are shared equitably across all participating schools.

📢‼️ BREAKING NEWS: On Tuesday evening, the student council presented their proposal for two new water fountain stations at Maple for a variety of reasons ranging from an old system, low water pressure, long wait times for fills, and (PTSA adults’ favorite) "the basic human right for safe drinking water." In a unanimous vote by the board, PTSA motioned to approve the proposed two new fountains at Maple — installation will begin this spring!

We would like to thank everyone who came out to sell and buy all the amazing handmade products at last week’s Winter Maple Market. Because of YOU, we were able to raise over $1,200 to support PTSA programs and the students at Maple. Happy holidays!
