Lola Rose Noble - born May 29th, 2024. The best day of my life has finally come. My heart has never been so open as the first moment I saw my daughter Lola as she emerged from her cocoon. She fit into just one of my hands. She’s small and precious. A true blessing that I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to experience. I met her after my brave and strong wife endured 37 hours of painful labor as I looked on, unable to take her pain away. She chose to feel the pain. I hope to know that bravery one day. How grateful I am that my daughter has this incredible mother to look up to and learn from. She will be a warrior just like her Mum. My wife sacrificed so much so that we could become parents, and there’s no way for me to express how in awe of her I am. As one of ten children, it made me respect my own Mum even more than I already do. Each morning I wake up and look over at Lola and I feel an overwhelming amount of love. I remember that she is ours, and I can’t wait to hold her again. Now we are a family. Half American, half Australian. Two parents from opposite sides of the world that couldn’t love their child any more if we tried. We chose to become parents, but perhaps Lola chose us?
