Sensitive Dog

Double trouble! These two adorable dachshunds came to see us for leash reactivity and challenges with guests coming over. It was so great to see them more relaxed with us after some good work together. Great job, boys! 👏🏼

✨Every dog is a teacher.✨Wilma reminds us how important it is for dogs to feel confidence in their humans. We want our dogs to lean into our guidance, but it’s hard to lean into someone who’s feeling ambivalent. This girl brought her Dad to us, and during our session he learned that his instincts about a few different things related to the care of his dogs were actually right on. There are so many opinions, sound bites, and conflicting messages out there about dog training, and just about everything else. Your dog will often show you the way. Sometimes it just takes a little help sorting through the noise. You’re a good girl, Wilma! 💕🐾
